Standard of Care

The standard of care is, in our opinion, the second vital factor in creating excellence in a Nursing Home and its standards must be equal to the exceptional quality of the home’s physical comfort.
That’s why we’re committed to extensive training – training far in excess of what the authorities require of us – in order to develop new ways of delivering care that puts the needs and wants of individual residents above any other consideration.
To achieve this we operate a system of care called the Key Worker scheme. This means we get to know individual resident’s care needs and focus on them being met. It’s a major development in the way care is delivered, and it’s an example of the way we believe care in nursing homes should progress. Each individual is assigned a named care worker to identify his or her needs and take responsibility for the way the rest of the team deliver the care required. This way nobody has to feel neglected or isolated. Through the Key Worker system of care delivery we’re dedicated to making sure each individual has the attention she or he needs and deserves.
